1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
2. Cream the butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and egg and mix until smooth. Gradually add the flour mixture and continue mixing until fully combined. Stir in chocolate chunks and pecans.
3. Transfer cookie dough to a greased 8-inch cast iron skillet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool for at least 15 minutes.
4. Drizzle with caramel sauce and top with ice cream just before serving.
